Draft Comprehensive Plan Available for Public Review
It's been two years in the making. Together with City leaders and staff, the community has created a comprehensive plan to shape Greenville's growth and evolution over the next two decades.
Community input during the planning process revealed that residents want our city to keep growing. This means absorbing a fair share of Greenville County’s projected population growth and remaining the hub of the region’s growing economy.
But residents don't want that growth to occur at the expense of quality of life. Instead, they want it to contribute to progress on several important fronts — especially on three priority issues: open space and the environment, transportation and mobility and affordable housing opportunities.
Now, it's time to share the plan and how we're going to achieve our goals together.
The comprehensive plan will be considered for adoption by City Council in early 2021.
