Virtual Story Time with a Bus Driver
Grab the kids and gather around your favorite digital device for our “Story Time with a Bus Driver” series! The videos will available at ridegreenlink.com and feature Greenlink bus drivers reading children’s books about buses and transportation. The webpage will be updated with more videos throughout the month, so check back often.

Kindness Rocks Scavenger HuntThe Kindness Rocks Project is an international movement that encourages people to decorate rocks with inspirational messages and leave them in random public places for people to find. Greenlink bus drivers and staff have joined the movement, creating and hiding their own rocks at Greenlink bus stops.
Throughout the month of October, Greenlink customers who spot the rocks are encouraged to share pictures on Twitter, tag @RideGreenlink, and use #GreenlinkRocks in the Twitter post to be entered into a drawing for a free 31-Day Unlimited Ride Pass! Tweets must be posted by October 31 to be entered into the drawing.

Citizens Transit Academy Applications Date: Applications are due Saturday, October 31, 2020 Time: The application will close at midnight Transit Academy Application Greenlink's Citizens Transit Academy is a free, six-week program designed to offer Greenville County residents a unique opportunity to learn about public transportation and the opportunities and challenges facing Greenlink. Up to 30 people will be selected from the pool of applicants and classes will be held virtually on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. An option to meet in-person may be available if COVID-19 conditions are safe enough to resume gatherings. The class schedule is below: January 5: Introductions, CTA overview, and Greenlink services January 12: Operations and safety, Transit Center virtual tour, and Greenlink's new technology January 19: Finances, capital needs, and maintenance facility discussion and virtual tour January 26: Service change procedures, bus stops, and route planning February 2: Transit Development Plan and other community efforts February 9: Group takeaways and graduation Apply by Saturday, October 31 at midnight
