Court Payments
Obligation to Pay
Once you have made a plea or have been found guilty or responsible for a violation, you have an obligation to pay your fines or restitution on the date of sentencing.
When you plead "Guilty" or "No Contest" to criminal violations charged against you, you must make full payment for all monies owed.
Payment Due Dates
All fines, fees, and restitution are due in full on the day of sentencing.
Traffic Charges & Handicapped Parking
Full payment is due on any traffic charge. Partial payments are not accepted.
Failure to make full payment on traffic charges may result in your driver's license being suspended.
To be reinstated, you will be required to pay the full fine amount to Municipal Court and a reinstatement fee to the South Carolina Highway Department.
Criminal Charges
Full payment is due the day of sentencing.
Parking Tickets
All parking tickets - other than Handicapped Parking - can be paid online.
Paying Online
If your citation is dated between July 1, 1997, and Aug. 31, 2017, the City of Greenville accepts online payment. Pay Municipal Court Fine Online
For all citations dated AFTER Sept. 1, 2017, payment must be made in person or by mail.

The Greenville Municipal Court Lobby is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and is located at:

Bond payments can be made at the Greenville County Detention Center, every day from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The detention center is located at:

Payment Types
Payment may be made in the form of cash, money order/cashier's check, and credit/debit card.
Money Order/Cashier's Check
Make your money order/cashier's check to the City of Greenville in the full amount due, and include the ticket/warrant number. Please provide your current address.
Personal or Business Checks
The Municipal Court will not accept personal checks or business checks. It will accept checks from attorneys from trust accounts making payments.
Credit or Debit Card
You may pay by credit/debit card online or in person. If paying in person, you will need to provide a picture ID. The name on the ID must be identical to the name on the card being used. Accepted forms of ID include:
