The Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee (ATAX) advises City Council on the expenditure of local accommodations tax funds for the purpose of promoting tourism, the arts and cultural affairs in the community.
Members are selected from the hospitality and lodging industries, as well as from the community at large. City residency is required for at-large members, and hospitality and lodging members must work in the city limits.
